A$AP Rocky Explains Why He Dissed Rita Ora in ''Better Things''—Watch Now!

The rapper raised some eyebrows recently when his single "Better Things" was released, because the 26-year-old Harlem native didn't hold back one bit when he decided to go in on fellow celeb Rita Ora on the track.
In case you missed the NSFW shout-out, A$AP spit, "I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth/Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/Kicked the bitch out once cause she bitched out/Spit my kids out, j--zed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce."
Your reaction probably went a little something like this—Daaaaaaamn, but why?
Are we right? Of course we are, because why is A$AP dissing Ora like that? It's a very logical question, and whaddya know, Sway Calloway does have the answers.

The rapper stopped by sway in the morning today, and after reciting the lyrics back to the star, Sway asked what every listener was wondering—why? And added, "'Cause I like Rita Ora."
"I do, too," Rocky responded (which is pretty hilarious, LOL). He continued, "First off, it's an old song. It's one of the older songs on the album. But what I will say is I got into a lot of trouble over her at times when I didn't need to, because she caused a lot of grief. So at that time, for me, it was just like…you know. I said what I said.
He added, "It's an old track. It was one of the joints that I recorded before Yamspassed that he really loved. Now, if you asked me another question, like, maybe I should've muted her name? Maybe I should've. But at the time, that's how I felt."
The rapper was asked if he gave Rita a heads up before he released the song, and his response was no, because she didn't give him a heads up. That obviously sparked another question—a heads up for what?!

A$AP simply explained it like this: "When you get in trouble with women, I'm sure you can put two and two together. I got in trouble. I wasn't supposed to be doing things with her, I got in trouble. Put it like that. And she got me on purpose. It's girly stuff, but listen, at the end of the day I don't have nothing against her. It's not like I said, 'She's a terrible person. Don't go listen to her music,' and that kinda stuff. I said what happened and yeah."
Do you see where he's going with this? Let's hope so. "The reason I kept it? It's a dope song," he concludes.
Rocky also stopped by Hot 97 and touched on his Katy perry line in the same song that goes, "I kissed the d--e chick and I liked it/F--king each and every Katy Perry for the night bitch." He explained that it wasn't a diss line at all, but a reference to her famous hit song "I Kissed a Girl."
A$AP Rocky's sophomore album At. Long. Last. ASAP is out now.
