Must Read: The Cleaning Lady… Part 6

A story written by Metalgear… (5C350257)

Kunle thought of Sheila frequently throughout the week, unable to get that perfect body out of his mind. She was gradually beginning to replace Lara in his mind. She was so carefree, jovial, happy and innocent, though a bit naïve to the world. One night, he dreamed of her. He was in his room when she came in, naked as the day she was born. “I want you to take me” she had told him. His clothes had somehow disappeared and she had suddenly appeared on top of him. He could see her tits swaying in front of him. He had reached out to grab and caress them and he felt her hand gliding up and down his throbbing shaft. He groaned as she straddled him. In his mind’s eye he buried his face between her breasts as she guided her smooth cunt onto his erection. In his dream, he began to thrust into her, the pressure in his balls soon increasing and becoming unbearable. Groaning, he came hard, jerking awake as he ejaculated. Something that had not happened to him in a long while, in spite of his condition. “I’ve been thinking too much about this girl” he told himself. He groaned softly, rose and seeing that it was nearly time to get up, went ahead and padded to the shower to clean up and prepare for work.
Lara sat quietly at her desk, stacks of paperwork in front of her. She clicked through the report aimlessly on her desktop computer, her thoughts elsewhere. Her mind wasn’t at peace. It had been almost two months since the incident at her house where she rained insults on Kunle, her now ex-fiancé. Her mind kept replaying the look on his face. She thought she was over him, but since that day she was surprised to find out that she thought about him all the time. She finally came to the conclusion that deep down in her heart, the fire for him she thought she had extinguished had somehow still been flickering. She longed to see him again but her pride and shame had held her back from getting in touch with him. Several times she had reached out and keyed in the 11-digit number she had memorized by heart on her phone, but she just couldn’t hit the dial button. Even right now she was staring at the phone in her palm.
Dupe knocked on her door, an important looking file in her hand. She laid the file down with a smack right in front of Lara, jolting her back to the present.
“Lara, o ni pa ara e nitori okunrin. You will not kill yourself because of this guy. I thought you were already over him” she said.
“Ore mi, will you blame me? I don’t know why, but I keep missing him every day.”
“Miss tani? Will you stop this trash talk? You said it yourself. He is no longer in your class. Let him be. Concentrate on your current beau. He doesn’t deserve this.”
“But Dupe what can I do? I thought I was over him. If not for his condition, I wouldn’t be with Charles.”
“So na because of prick you fashi the poor boy abi? Ashewo oshi. Abeg forget the guy and face Charles jare.”
“Dupe please help me” Lara pleaded. “I don’t know what to do.”
Dupe sighed and sat down, looking at her unhappy friend and pal.
“The way you insulted Kunle, and in front of so many people, no man in his right senses will ever want to take such a woman back. You hit his ego, his pride, his manhood. I told you it was too much. You should at least have been courteous.”
“One can never tell the heart though. I’m sure with the kind of embarrassment you gave him, he would have somehow found a way to deal with his problem. He wouldn’t want to disappoint another girl, and with the kind of smack you said, his confidence will be low. He would be scared to approach another girl.”
“If this is what you want to do, and it’s against my better judgement, what I’ll advise you to do is try see him. He may reject you at first, but if it’s the Kunle I know, after you’ve loved up to him and showed you are really sorry, he may take you back. But its going to be difficult.”
“Just give him a call and tell him you want to see him. At least here you out and apologize.”
“Thanks Dupe. I know I could trust you. Please don’t let Charles know about this.”
“Ewo lo kan mi? I have my own relationship issues to sort out. If you like make you date two men. Just be ready to satisfy both of them.”
Lara laughed and relaxed in her chair, feeling like a huge weight lifted off her shoulders.

Must Read: The Cleaning Lady… Part 5

A story written by Metalgear… (5C350257)

That night Kunle couldn’t sleep. He had to go to the toilet more than five times. By the next morning, he was so weak. He had to call out sick. But he still used his herbs religiously. By the third day his body had gotten used to it. His lower back no longer felt weak and for the first time in months, he was having morning wood.
Saturday morning, he was relaxing in bed watching a Premiership match when he heard the movement of a cart being dragged along the pathway outside. He quickly jumped out of bed and looked out the window. He was so happy to see it was Sheila. He quickly threw on a shirt and ran outside.
“Sheila. Where have you been?” he asked her.
She looked up at him at the sound of her name, a frown on her face. She hissed and began to push her cart away. Kunle quickly moved to where she was and held onto her arm.
“Sheila please. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said all those things to you. Please, I beg you.” He pleaded.
Sheila just stood there. She didn’t respond nor did she turn to face him. Kunle prodded more.
“I know I hurt you so much with my words, but I shouldn’t have. I was going through some emotional issues. At least let me explain to you.”
He led her into his room and sat her down. For the next half hour he talked, telling her about Lara, his problem, how he went to apologize to her, and the emotional insults he received. When he finished she sighed. She removed her glasses and rubbed her eyes.
“So you went through all that and you didn’t tell me.” She finally answered, the first words she would speak to him since the day she left his room crying.
“I’m so sorry Sheila. I was an emotional wreck. I wasn’t thinking properly.”
“You should have at least told me instead of yelling on me like that.”
“I’m so sorry.”
“Look I like you. I like you a lot. But what you did that day broke my heart. I had sworn I wasn’t going to come back here anymore, but I had no choice. I’m still pissed off at you, and its going to take a while before I get over it.”
“Is there anyway I can make it up to you?”
“No. I will get over it eventually.”
“Sheila please. I don’t want you to hate me. I want to be your friend. Please forgive me and forget it” Kunle pleaded, going down on his knees infront of her.
She sighed and averted her eyes from his gaze. Her bust rose gently to her breathing.
“Sheila…please…I’m sorry. I promise it won’t happen again. At least tell me I’m forgiven.”
“Okay I forgive you” she replied bashfully.
He held out his hands, inviting her for a hug. She lowered herself into his embrace, squashing her breasts into his chest. He caressed her back and gave her a small peck on her cheek. He felt her fist slam into his back and he howled in pain.
“And none of that. It’s too early.” She replied.
She stood up and looked at her wristwatch. “I have to go now. Maybe if im not too tired I’ll come around and help you arrange here a bit. This place is messy.”
“I have counter proposal.” Kunle offered. “Why don’t you help me clean here one in a while, and I pay you for it?”
She thought about it. “Well it depends on what you are offering.”
“I’ll pay you 5k for a month, if you come twice a week.”
“6k and I’ll consider your offer.”
They settled for 5k every Saturday. That meant she would have to shift her Saturday schedule to Friday. She thanked him wiggled and bounced her way out the door.

For the next couple of weekends she came over to his place for a couple of hours and helped him clean up. She cleaned his kitchen, scrubbed his bathroom, she even did his laundry once. The only issue he had was her. She would come all dressed proper but once she got in, she always changed to some tight clothes that emphasized her curves. Called them her “work clothes” or something. Her boobs always bounced and he had a hard time not staring. She caught him once ogling her and waved her brush at him. There was a time she wore a pair of bum shorts and a low cut t-shirt so tight it seemed they were painted on. Her breasts were almost spilling out of the shirt as she bent over and scrubbed in her merriment. The sight of her breasts, smooth thighs and round arse were becoming too much for him and he had to step outside for a minute to breathe. Wow. This girl is hot!!! Lara will pale in comparison beside her. Lara. He chuckled. He hadn’t thought about her in a while. He remembered the good times they had together before success and money got into her head. Lara. Well, that’s a part of his life he decided to close. He was already getting over her already and felt that…….
“Kunle, you okay?” Sheila sked. He was so lost in thought that he hadn’t realized she was bent over staring at him, a gloved hand waving in his face. He jolted back into reality.
“Oh Sheila. I’m sorry. I was lost in thought.”
“You were thinking of her right?”
“Who?”
“Lara.”
“Lara ke? Why would I think of Lara when I have a more beautiful younger version in front of me?”
“Version? Do I look like a piece of software to you?” she replied with a playful frown on her face.
Kunle glanced down her shirt and down her deep cleavage. She caught his glance, looked down, and stood upright.
“You like ogling me right?”
He bit his lip. “Well you give me no choice, with all the clothes you wear.”
“Do you want me to stop wearing them? I could if they are that distracting.”
“I didn’t say so. I just pray one day you don’t cause an accident on the highway.”
She laughed. “A friend of mine told me once that if she were a man, she would have raped me. Do you feel the same way?”
“Why would I want to rape you? Rape is not the word.”
“Okay what’s the right word then?”
“Sheila, will you let me be?”
“You started it first by looking down my shirt.”
“Okay. Sorry. I will try not to look again.”
“Anyways I wanted to ask if you want me to cook anything for you. I found some iced fish in your freezer.”
“No don’t worry, I’m fine.”
“Okay. I will just go change and be off then.”
She walked away to get ready to leave.
“By the way” Kunle said.
“Yesss???”
“Your breasts are very round and lovely” he replied in response to her unasked question.
She beamed and walked away, swaying her hips and laughing at the expression on his face.
“Kunle, you are an ashawo. You no dey see woman for face?” she said, batting her eyelids at him like a puppy.
“If you know how much I’ve been trying to control myself from pouncing on you, you will not be talking like that.” he murmured.
“What’s that?”
“Nothing.”

Must Read: The Cleaning Lady… Part 4

A story written by Metalgear… (5C350257)

Sheila didn’t show up for work the next Tuesday. Neither did she come on Thursday, and even Saturday. He didn’t know how to get in touch with her. He didn’t even have her phone number. He felt bad the way he had yelled on her. It wasn’t her fault that Lara treated him like trash. He should have kept his emotions in check. Well, he thought as he was coming back from work on Monday, things happen. He just had to get over it and move on with his life. And in order to do this, he had to deal with his problem.
The bus dropped him and other passengers and he made his way dejectedly towards Mummy Akosua’s stall.
“Madam good afternoon.” He greeted her.
“Good afternoon customer.” She responded.
He sat down and played a bit with her kids. She placed a plate of food infront of him and he began to eat absentmindedly.
“Oga why your face come strong like this?”
“Madam, na stress of work jare.”
“Take am easy oh. You are still a young man.”
“Yeah, a young man who cannot perform” he thought.
“Madam, do you know where I can get local medicine to cure opaeyin?” he asked without thinking.
Mama Akosua laughed. “Is your girlfriend complaining?”
He felt ashamed.
“Anyways if you want something strong, I have one friend who usually comes by. She should even be here by now. She sells herbs for back pain, low libido, and other things. Maybe you can wait and ask her.” She said with a twinkle in her eye.
“Mommy, what is Opeayin” Akosua’s brother asked.
“Will you shut your mouth there?” her mother scolded him.
About 10 minutes later a rotund woman with a big bowl of stuff balanced on her head came walking by. The two women greeted and Mummy Akosua pointed him out.
“This young man needs something.”
She looked at him. ”Customer, what do you need? I have everything.”
“Well” kunle said, scratching his head, “I need something for…you know….weak erection” he whispered in embarrassment.
“Oh, your madam dey vex abi? Okay don’t woryy. I have something here for you.”
She dug out a bottle of herbs and handed it to him.
“Just soak these in any hot gin overnight. Drink just half a cup every two days. You will shit the whole thing out and I promise you will not be disappointed. You will come and thank me afterwards.”
Smiling sheepishly, he handed her the 1500 naira she requested for.
“Remember” she warned “just use it small small. The thing is very strong.”
“Thank you ma.” Kunle responded.

Must Read: The Cleaning Lady… Part 3

A story written by Metalgear… (5C350257)
He got down from the okada rider’s bike and paid him the 200 naira he had demanded. Stupid crook. Is it because he was dressed up, prim and proper in his shirt and tie? He dismissed the bikeman and he roared of in a cloud of smoke and exhaust.
Cursing the guy under his breath, he slowly walked the 5 minutes it took to Lara’s house. He thought about what he was going to tell her, go down on one knee, telling her he was sorry, and saying his screw up won’t happen again.
He was so mesmerized in his thoughts that he didn’t notice a bunch of posh cars parked in front of her house. The caliber of vehicles parked made him realize something was going on in Lara’s house. He met Aminu, the gateman sitting infront of the gate. Immediately their eyes met, Aminu stood up and made an effort to going inside.
“Aminu Haba now. Why you dey troway face for me? Na me Kunle now.”
“Oga, madam don already talk am say if I see you make I no open gate for una. She tell me say make I warn you make you no reach this place again.”
“Haba now Aminu. You wan do that to your padi” replied Kunle, removing a 1000 naira note and folding it in half.
Aminu eyed the note greedily. “Oga…ehn..i know say you be my oga…but you sabi madam wahala. She fit send me comot.”
“Don’t worry.” Kunle replied, slipping the note into his black paw. “Just tell her you were not at the gate when I arrived. Tell her I opened it from outside.”
Amunu took the money and quickly pocketed it. He opened the gate and Kunle slipped inside.
Walking towards the door, he heard music and laughter inside. He knocked on the door and after a short wait, it opened. It was Dupe, Lara’s friend and colleague at work.
“Hey Dupe bawo ni now? It’s been quite a while. How have you been?” Kunle asked cheerfully.
Instead of responding, Dupe hissed and stepped back inside. Kunle slowly entered and was greeted by a number of folks in Lara’s bank. There were bottles of expensive drinks and lots of food and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Lara suddenly appeared infront of him, a scowl of disgust written all over her face.
“Ki lo n wa nibiyi? What are you doing here? Did I not tell you to never show your face here anymore?” she demanded angrily.
“But Lara, I came to apologize. I even brought these for you to show you how sorry I am” Kunle trembled, showing her the gifts.
She took one look at the things in his hands and hissed. “Even if I was going to take these, do I look like a baby to you? All your mates are buying expensive stuff for their girls. You are bringing these cheap things here.”
She knocked the flowers and perfumes and chocolates from his hands onto the floor. By this time everyone’s attention was already on both of them. Every word she spat out was like a dagger to his heart.
“I’ve told you already that we are no more. Finished. I no longer love you. Keep your cheap gifts to yourself or go give it to some other small girl someone your level deserves. We are no longer mates and we’re no longer in the same class. Please take your leave before I disgrace you further” She concluded.
A young man about the same age as him walked up to where they were. He stood beside her and wrapped a long arm around her shoulders.
“Baby? What’s going on? Who is this guy” he asked, waving a glass of wine in his direction.
“This is the impotent fool I was telling you about” she replied. The word “IMPOTENT” reverberated around the room and there was a gasp as everyone went silent. The only sounds were the music being played on the sound system.
“Please, LEAVE NOW! Baby, please get this man out of my sight.” she repeated.
“You heard the lady” the guy said, taking Kunle by the arm. Kunle slapped away his hand before he could touch him.
“Don’t…touch…me…” he responded. His eyes had turned stone cold and his voice was filled with ice. “I can see myself out.”
With the little dignity he had left, he picked up his gifts off the floor and started around the room. Everyone was staring at him, wondering what he was going to do. Even Dupe had a scared look in her eyes. The macho dude had backed away.
“I’m sorry for disturbing your afternoon. Have a nice party” he said before turning around and exiting the building.
“Lara, you took that too far. You shouldn’t have insulted him that much” Dupe scolded her friend.
“He deserved it. I’ve told him never to come and bother me again. Now I feel so bad.”
Her new beau tried comforting her. “Baby forget it. Don’t let a little pipsqueak like that upset you. You are above him. Come on, let’s dance. This party is meant for you.”
Lara shrugged and unhappily followed him as he dragged her up and started dancing to the beats.
Kunle walked dazed dejected to the main road where he could get a bike back to his place. He was still shocked from the insulting words he had just received from Lara. He still couldn’t believe it. Lara? Say all that to him? Insult him in front of all those people? He was glad he had controlled himself there and not knocked the silly grin off the face of that stupid punk. He looked up in the sky and sighed. Is this how it is? A common girl insulting him just because she was more successful than him? A tear rolled out of his eye down his cheek. He looked at the tattered gifts he had bought her and a sudden anger began to envelope him. He threw them to the ground, chocolates, flowers, and perfume, and stamped on them hard till they disintegrated into a mess of brown mush at his feet. He tried controlling himself lest he made himself look like a fool. A couple of people were already looking his way. He quickly flagged a bike down.
By the time he got to his place, he was already seething and boiling with anger. How dare she? Who the hell does she think she is? After what they both had gone through. He didn’t acknowledge the greeting of the mallam and stormed to his room in anger. He locked himself inside and didn’t go out again that day.
He didn’t sleep at all that night. Thoughts of Lara filled his mind. Even when he was able to catch a few minutes, all he dreamt of was her. By morning, he was a total wreck. He had a bad headache, his eyes were bloodshot. He was a mess.
Later that afternoon, he heard a knock on his door. He didn’t want to get up but when it became more persistent, he stood up dazed and walked over, intent on yelling on whoever it was to leave him the fuck alone. He opened the door to reveal a beaming Sheila.
One look at him and she became alarmed. “Kunle!!! What’s wrong with you?” she asked, shocked at his appearance.
He didn’t answer, just turned around and went back to his room. Sheila followed him, still asking him what was wrong. He couldn’t respond. After a while her persistent questions were getting on his nerves.
“Sheila, don’t you know when someone wants to be alone?” he asked.
She was taken aback. “Did I do anything wrong? I’m sorry if I annoyed you.”
“Yes, you are doing something wrong. You are pestering me. Don’t bother me again. PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he shouted at her.
He regretted it almost immediately. A painful, shocked look appeared on her face and she backed away, a cry escaping her lips. ”I’m sorry Sheila” he began to apologize, “I shouldn’t have shouted on you like that.”
With a wail, Sheila covered her face and ran out of his room. He called after her.
“Sheila!!! Sheila!!! Please wait!!! I’m sorry!!!” it was no use. She disappeared and he didn’t have the strength to run after her. It wasn’t her fault at all, but he shouldn’t have taken his frustrations out on the poor girl. She was only being helpful, coming here on a Sunday, a day she wasn’t at work. His hand closed into a fist and he punched the mirror on his bedroom door, shattering it and cutting himself. “DAMN YOU LARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!” he yelled.

A story written by Metalgear… (5C350257)
“Oh, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have put this in the middle of the way. I’m so, so sorry.” she pleaded, pushing the cart into the hedges. Instead of the middle-aged, plump woman who usually came around every other day to clean the compound, pushing the cart away from the path was a young, pretty damsel. The girl was gorgeous. The plain clothes she wore did not hide the perfect curves underneath. The sweater she had on that cool harmattan morning couldn’t hide the size of the basketballs that stood proudly on her chest. According to Usher, “her body was so tight, he was looking for her in the daytime with a flashlight”.
She was still apologizing as she moved the cart out of the way. She stood facing him and he couldn’t help but stare at her boobs.
“Oh don’t worry, I’m fine. I should have been more careful and watched where I was going.” He finally found his tongue. “By the way, you are new here. I’ve not seen you around here before.”
“Yes I just started today” she responded cheerfully. “I was told the other lady had to leave and I am her replacement. Humble, little me.”
“Wow. So nice. Well I have to rush off to work now. Will I get to see your lovely face again?”
“Well” she replied, pushing up her button nose in thought. “I’m usually scheduled here on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.”
“Okay. I guess I’ll see you on Saturday then. What’s your name by the way?”
“Sheila.”
“Such a beautiful name for a pretty girl. Nice meeting you”
She giggled and blushed, embarrassed. ”It’s nice meeting you too Mr…..errr….”
“Kunle. Just call me Kunle. No fancy titles”.
“It’s nice meeting you too….Kunle.”
She pushed her cart towards the main building and he watched as her body undulated with her movements. Just before she entered, she looked back at him and caught him staring and smiled. He smiled back and disappeared into the building.
He rushed off to the park. He saw the bus already pulling up and he quickly ran to get his breakfast, the usual crowd of people already waiting patiently for their hot breakfast. Mama Akosua was busy serving a bunch of hungry customers when he arrived.
Kunle: “Madam una well done oh”.
Mummy Akosua: “Ah customer good morning oh. How are u this morning?”
Kunle: “I just dey try manage my life oh. How market?”
Mummy Akosua:”Market dey oh my dear. As you see am we dey manage. Na God dey help us oh.”
Kunle: “Where my little girl and her brother?”
Mummy Akosua:”They’ve gone to school.”
Kunle: “This early morning?”
Mummy Akosua:”Yes oh. You know Akosua is a prefect in her school. She has to lead by example.”
She called out to someone inside to bring out his package. “How much do I owe u ma?” he asked.
“Na 200 naira.”
“U get change for 1000?”
“This early morning? I no get change oh. You fit bring am in the evening.”
Kunle thanked her and waited for his pack. Upon its arrival, he grabbed it and thanked Mummy Akosua. He ran to join the bus which was almost filled up and grabbed a seat. He looked back at the hungry patrons as the bus moved off.
Throughout that day Kunle had not been able to get his mind off the girl. Her curves, her lovely chest, the shiny ivory skin occupied his thoughts as he went about his work. But what could he do about it? He didn’t want to disappoint another girl again. Besides, he was yet to make up with Lara, something he planned to do that weekend. She had still refused to pick his calls, chats, emails. He decided to go to her house again that weekend. She would definitely have cooled down and would hear him out.
On his way home on Friday, he entered a store to buy a box of perfumes, chocolates, and some roses. Though it set him back some 30k, he felt it was worth it. He made sure he looked as clean as he could be. He got himself a fresh haircut and shave, and bought a new shirt and tie. He really wanted to impress her and show he was really sorry for what happened.
Saturday morning, as he was about to go get some eggs and bread from the mallam at the gate for his breakfast, he ran into Sheila again. Immediately she saw him she beamed and bounced up to him. She wore a red T-shirt over a pair of blue jeans. The shirt struggled to contain her boobs which were pushing against the fabric. Her hair was tied in a scarf and she had on a pair of black sandals. She looked stunning.
“Hello Kunle” she greeted him cheerfully.
“Good morning Sheila. You look all so bright and beautiful today” he greeted back.
“Yeah it’s a beautiful morning. Not too cold though like yesterday.”
“You haven’t really told me much about yourself.”
“Well you never asked. And this is the second time we’re talking.”
He smiled. “Okay then. So why is a young beautiful lady like you doing a job meant for old middle-aged women?”
She laughed. “Don’t think I’m a small girl oh. I’m not as young as you think.”
“So how old are you then?”
“I’m 21.”
“21? That is still young in my books. Anyways why are you working this odd job?”
“Well…” she responded, removing her glasses and rubbing her eyes, “…I finished high-school about two years ago. I moved here to Lagos when I couldn’t get into any school back in the east and my mum wanted me to get married since that was not turning out. I insisted I must at least finish my college degree first so she sent me here to be with her sister. I told her I will look for a small job where I can raise some money to at least buy a JAMB or Pre-ND form and pay a bit of my upkeep. I’m tired of asking her all the time for money. After about 6 months I was able to get this one. It is not much, but at least I get something to save towards my aim.”
“That’s a good strategy. How much are you being paid here?” Kunle asked.
“Well it’s not much. Though I just started two days ago, they pay me 3500 monthly.”
She raised her hand. “I know it’s not much, but with time I may get another job that pays better.”
Kunle smiled at her naivety. “Anyways that’s a good plan. If you have any issues or you need any help, don’t hesitate to call on me. I live in there.” He said, pointing to his living quarters.
She smiled back. “Sure I will. Well I have to skip off. Talk to you later.”
She skipped away to the main building. Kunle sighed. Well you cant have it both ways he told himself. He decided to skip breakfast and go try win Lara back. If he had known what he was going to encounter, he would have just forgotten it the day she shoved him out of her house rudely.

“You promise you will not let my aunt know about this? I…I really…she…she can be very wicked at times and I don’t want her to find out.”
“Why would I want to tell her about it? Of course I won’t tell her. Not her, not anybody. This is and will remain between us.”
“You promise? You men always talk about these things after promising not to mention it.”
He placed his right hand over her heart. He could feel it beating rapidly. “Trust me. I won’t tell anybody. The day you hear about it from anyone else would be the day I drop dead.”
She turned around and moved to the other side of the room, her back towards him.
“What if someone tells her? She may send me back home.” She still sounded unconvinced.
He could see she was really thinking hard. “I don’t know. Maybe it’s not such a good idea. Maybe I should just leave.”
“Look Sheila, I’ve told you no one will know. I promise to make it worth your while. Please don’t think I’m toying with you or taking advantage of you. You are not a loose girl. I just need your help. You are the only one I could think of after…you know…I mean I don’t want to force you and will understand if you don’t want to, but please do this for me.”
She thought for a few more moments and sighed. ”Okay. I trust you. But nobody must know. This remains strictly between us”.
Kunle nodded slowly, pleased with himself. Sheila slowly turned around and moved towards where he stood. Reaching him, he quickly pulled her into his arms before she had second thoughts…
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
“Ki ni gbogbo trash yi gaan na?” she screamed at him. “Igba ti o mo pe o le ba obinrin sun, why do you disturb me for sex?”
He was on his knees naked, begging and pleading with her.
“Lara jo. Ma binu. I don’t know why it’s always happening like this.”
Lara stood up and grabbed her clothes from where they had tossed them.
“I don’t think I want to be with a man who cannot perform. This is the fourth time and I’ve had it. Just look at yourself. I brought myself down to your level just to please you and everyone, but look at what I got myself into. I’m engaged to an impotent buffoon. Well, not anymore.”
She yanked off the ring from her finger and flung it at him. The insult stung him to his very core. She dressed up again and grabbed his clothes, flinging them at him.
“Ma ko oshi e lo jare. Iwo okobo oloriburuku yi. Get the fuck out of my house!!!!!”
She pushed him out of the door, not even giving him the chance to dress up properly.
“Lara jo ma shey bayi si mi now”
“Abi o ya were ni? I said get out of here!!!! Aminu!!!!!!!!” she shouted at the gateman. “Come carry this useless idiot out of here. And I must not see him in this house again, or else you are fired!!!!”
Kunle dejectedly dressed up and left. On his way home, he pondered. How dare she do this to him? After all they’ve been through together?
The alarm on his phone buzzed loudly, waking him up with a start. He stretched and yawned, looking at the window as the first rays of dawn began lightening up the sky. It was time to get up and prepare for work.

He stepped out of his one-room self-contained boys-quarters behind the main building of four apartments and almost ran into the cleaning lady.
